Monax carpentry and joinery is run as a partnership by Ryan Harding and Matt Barnett, both of which are fully qualified and served full traditional apprenticeships after leaving school.

“ Ever since we left school and went into apprenticeships we both knew that carpentry was the right choice and we were far more keen than the other apprentices we knew. Although we worked for different companies we had always hoped to go into business together one day when the time was right and here we are ! We both began in different areas of carpentry, I (Ryan) started working for a very respectable local builder and learnt the in’s and out’s of domestic structural and finishing carpentry and joinery whereas Matt worked for a company that carried out high end refurbishments in central London including art galleries and museums. Monax is a company that we are very proud of and our reputation is of upmost importance to us as Monax is not just a business but an ambition for over ten years. We pride ourselves on being a ‘complete’ company as we carry out everything from bespoke joinery to loft conversions and extentions and always apply the same quality standard to everything we undertake”.
